Danny Kruger

Danny Kruger was chief speech writer for prime minister David Cameron. Cameron was responsible for transforming the Tory party from a mildly patriotic centre-right party that melded liberalism with socially conservative values into a Blairite party of unrestrained mass immigration. Kruger played a central part in rebranding the party with the term "compassionate conservatism." David Cameron presided over mass migration, but for Kruger, that was not enough:

"I'd like to know where David Cameron's compassionate Conservatism has gone. I would regret an election campaign that focused on skivers and sending immigrants home."

Danny told The Guardian:

"I fear the rhetoric will, rather than lauding the 'big society', become more about bashing burglars and sending immigrants home and cutting taxes, rather than what was intentionally a transformative agenda around renewing and reviving local social relationships and making communities function. It's harder to articulate, but so much more important,".

Danny also complained that criminals were viewed as "objects of contempt". God forbid anyone feels contempt for the person that stabbed them in the face.
